The 2024 NFL Draft held the potential for massive shifts in the Fantasy landscape. Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, and Tee Higgins were potential trade candidates. High-powered like the Cowboys and Chargers had clear needs at RB and were expected to use an early pick to address the position.

None of those expected changes to the Fantasy landscape occurred. The Chargers did add a potential Fantasy football sleeper RB, but that pick didn't come until Round 6. Don't worry, we'll talk about him later.

The Cowboys just straight-up ignored the RB position. Currently, Rico Dowdle sits atop the Dallas depth chart at RB. It was a weird draft. The Atlanta Falcons used the eighth overall pick on 23-year-old quarterback Michael Penix Jr. even with $100 million guaranteed to Kirk Cousins. The Buffalo Bills traded out of Round 1 entirely, a move back that was initiated by helping primary perennial AFC competitors Kansas City move up to secure the rights to the fastest player in the history of the NFL Combine. Just a year after selecting tight end Michael Mayer in Round 2, the Raiders invested the 13th overall selection in the 2024 draft to add tight end Brock Bowers. The 2024 NFL Draft tied for most quarterbacks ever selected in Round 1, and all six of those quarterbacks were top-12 selections!

We didn't get many of the most-expected changes from the 2024 NFL Draft, but much did change. Below, I detailed as many Fantasy-relevant changes as I could think of.
