Over 41 million take in Masters coverage on CBS

ESTIMATED 41.4 MILLION VIEW ALL-OR-PART OF CBS SPORTS'
MASTERS® COVERAGE ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

NATIONAL RATING UP 8% FOR COVERAGE OF MASTERS FINAL ROUND

CBS Sports' coverage of the 2007 Masters® on Easter Sunday, April 8 and Saturday, April 7, in which Zach Johnson won the coveted green jacket, was seen in all-or-part by an estimated 41.4 million viewers (Persons 2+) according to Nielsen Media Research estimates. This year's 41.4 million viewers was up 11% from last year's 37.3 million viewers, and up 6% from 38.9 million in 2004, the last time the Masters was played on Easter Weekend.

This year's 41.4 million viewers that watched all-or-part of CBS Sports' weekend Masters coverage was the highest since 47.9 million viewers watched Tiger Woods win his second Masters in 2001.

CBS Sports' coverage of Sunday's final round earned an average preliminary national household rating/share of 9.1/22, up 8% from last year's 8.4/19 when Phil Mickelson won his second Masters title. It also was up 25% from the last time the final round was played on Easter Sunday in 2004 (7.3/19), when Mickelson won his first green jacket and first career major title.

CBS Sports' final-round coverage of the Masters peaked with a rating/share of 11.3/25 from 6:00-6:30 PM, ET.

Nielsen Media Research estimates that Sunday's final-round coverage was seen in all-or-part by 32.9 million viewers (Persons 2+), up 8% from last year's 30.6 million viewers, and up 10% from 30.0 million viewers who watched all-or-part on Easter Sunday 2004.

Nielsen Media Research estimates that Saturday's third-round coverage was seen in all-or-part by 21.5 million viewers (Persons 2+), up 14% from last year's 18.8 million, and up 9% from 19.8 million in 2004.

CBS Sports' coverage of the 2007 Masters on Saturday, April 7 earned an average preliminary national household rating/share of 5.9/13, up 20% from last year's Saturday third-round coverage which earned a 4.9/12. This year's 5.9/13 rating for third-round coverage of the Masters is the highest rating/share for Saturday third-round coverage since a 6.4/17 in 2002.

For the two days of Masters coverage, CBS Sports earned an average preliminary national household rating/share of 7.6/18, up 10% from last year's 6.9/16, and up 13% from the last time the third and final rounds were played on Easter Weekend in 2004 (6.7/18).

This year's final-round coverage of the Masters was higher rated than any of the other final rounds of golf's majors in 2006: +98% higher than the 2006 British Open final round (4.6/14); +94% higher than the 2006 U.S. Open final round (4.7/12); and +30% higher than the 2006 PGA Championship final round (7.0 /16).
