No. 3 WORLD-RANKED JIM FURYK LEADS “BUICK OPEN” FIELD ON CBS SPORTS THIS WEEKEND, JUNE 30-JULY 1
No. 3 world-ranked Jim Furyk heads the field this year after having finished second to Tiger Woods last year at BUICK OPEN at Warwick Hills Golf and Country Club. Woods will not defend his title because of the birth of his daughter last week. CBS Sports covers all the action at the Buick Open, broadcasting the third and final rounds on Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1 (3:00-6:00 PM, ET, both days), live from Grand Blanc, Mich., on the CBS Television Network.
Bill Macatee will anchor CBS Sports’ coverage of the BUICK OPEN from the 18th hole tower this weekend alongside lead golf analyst Nick Faldo. Peter Oosterhuis calls the action at the 17th hole, Gary McCord at the 16th hole and Ian Baker-Finch at the 15th hole. David Feherty and Peter Kostis serve as on-course reporters.

Last year, Woods won by three strokes, giving him his second Buick Open title. Furyk, who finished second, also won the tournament in 2003. Furyk is eighth on the FedExCup points list.
