CBS SPORTS RIDES WORLD PROFESSIONAL MOUNTAIN BIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS FROM UTAH
CBS SPORTS SPECTACULAR broadcasts the JEEP KING OF THE MOUNTAIN WORLD PROFESSIONAL MOUNTAIN BIKE CHAMPIONSHIPS on Saturday, Aug. 18 (5:00–6:00 PM, ET) from the Canyons Resort in Park City, Utah. The best athletes from around the globe compete for the title of the World Professional Champion, $100,000 and a 2008 Jeep Liberty. Michael Prokop of the Czech Republic attempts to earn his third consecutive World Professional Championship title in the fifth year of the event. However, there are several challengers who are looking to dethrone Prokop. Among the challengers in this exciting race are Brian Lopes of Laguna Beach, Calif. and Wade Bootes of Australia. Trace Worthington, Kevin Delaney and Leah Garcia call the action for CBS Sports. CBS Sports’ Suzanne Smith serves as the coordinating producer.
