The NFL on CBS closes out preseason slate

"THE NFL ON CBS" BROADCASTS THIRD AND FINAL PRESEASON GAME AS
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS TAKE ON CAROLINA PANTHERS LIVE IN PRIME TIME ON
FRIDAY, AUGUST 24 ON CBS TELEVISION NETWORK

The CBS Television Network, in its 48th year broadcasting the NFL, concludes its preseason schedule with THE NFL ON CBS's third and final preseason game as the NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS visit the CAROLINA PANTHERS on Friday, Aug. 24 (8:00 PM, ET) live in prime time on the CBS Television Network.

Greg Gumbel teams with Dan Dierdorf in calling the action from the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C. Mark Wolff produces and Bob Fishman directs.

As were the first two NFL ON CBS preseason games, this game also will be shown in HDTV with the highest definition television format – 1080i lines of picture resolution – along with 5.1 digital audio.
