Hannah Storm to speak to Lovie Smith about Super Bowl XLI and sports diversity

HANNAH STORM SPEAKS TO COACH LOVIE SMITH ABOUT SUPER BOWL XLI AND WHAT IT MEANS FOR DIVERSITY IN SPORTS – THE INTERVIEW WILL BE BROADCAST FEB. 1 ON “THE EARLY SHOW” ON CBS

Co-anchor Hannah Storm traveled to Chicago, Ill., to interview Bears head coach Lovie Smith for THE EARLY SHOW’s coverage of Super Bowl XLI. The interview will be broadcast on THE EARLY SHOW on Thursday, Feb. 1 (7:00-9:00 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Coach Smith will discuss his friendship with Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy and their shared legacy of being the first African-American coaches to lead their teams to the Super Bowl. Smith tells Storm, “It’s good for young black men and other black coaches coming through the ranks to see there’s no limit to what you can do.” Michael Bass is the senior executive producer.
