Second round

East regional semis

Traveling? Perhaps, but it wasn't called as Jeff Green squeezed between two defenders, spun and banked in a short, off-balance shot with 2.5 seconds left to lead Georgetown to a 66-65 victory over sixth-seeded Vanderbilt. The Hoyas overcame an eight-point half-time deficit as well as the absence of Roy Hibbert, who fouled out with 3:58 remaining.

Judge: Even Green, Georgetown know they're lucky

East regional final

Helped in part by a spectacular meltdown by North Carolina, which made only one of its final 23 field-goal attempts, Georgetown overcame a 10-point deficit with six minutes to go and dominated overtime for a 96-84 victory. Jeff Green scored 22 points for the Hoyas, who reached the Final Four for the first time since 1985.

Freeman: Following in dad's footsteps, but with a different approach

Our take

Some may call Georgetown lucky to be in the Final Four, but you've got to hand it to the Hoyas, they never give up. Still, the fact they've had to stage major second-half rallies for three of their four victories isn't exactly a good thing.
