Goodbye Pfeifer

George Pfeifer has been fired as the University of Idaho men's basketball coach after two seasons, athletic director Rob Spear announced Tuesday morning.

He was terrible. Thank you for the four game improvement in the WAC this year.

Thank you so much...for ruining our season for the second time in a row!

Last year, we (Hawaii) were your guys only conference win. At least that's not true this year, however we're your only road win...which I'm not sure if that's any better!!

Pfiefer Any Good?

I was one of the Vandal fans down here at the La. Tech game, watching the Vandals for the first time in many years.

I was amazed at Pfiefer's lineup changes, especially at the end of the game. They would get into the game with the taller lineup and then at the end he puts in Morris to foul and shot errant 3s. Nagle was eating them up when he was in the game and played 16 ...(more)
