THE GOOD NEWS
Junior forward Brian Connelly enjoyed a career season, doubling his scoring average and leading the team in field-goal percentage.

THE BAD NEWS
Seniors Jon Iati, Brent Wilson and Brian Lillis have played key roles in the Great Danes' run of conference titles. They also were three of the team's top four scorers.

KEY RETURNEES
Along with Connelly, redshirt freshman guard Tim Ambrose should play an important role next season. Ambrose can put up points in a hurry but needs to become more consistent. That should come with experience.

ROSTER REPORT

--Senior Brian Lillis leaves some big shoes to fill. Lillis led the Great Danes in scoring, rebounds, assists, steals and blocks.

--Freshman forward Al Turley looks to have a bright future.

Although he's just 6-foot-7, Turley is a physical presence in the paint and can also play center. He uses his 285-pound frame very well and should be a solid rebounder for years to come.
