FINAL RECORD
6-24, 1-19 in the Southern Conference (sixth in South Division)

WHAT WENT RIGHT
The Bulldogs went with the youth movement and it yielded some great first-year performances. G Cameron Wells earned the Southern Conference's Freshman of the Year honor for leading all freshmen in the league in scoring at 14.8 ppg. Close behind him were Austin Dahn and Zach Urbanus, giving the Bulldogs a solid nucleus for the future.

WHAT WENT WRONG
As would be expected from such a young team, the Bulldogs had their share of struggles, especially on the defensive end, where the team allowed a league-worst 74.3 points a game. Rebounding was a major problem area as well, with the Bulldogs ranking last in the league in nearly every rebounding category.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"Our theme all year has been development. I think we really carried that right to the end. I think anybody who saw this game tonight saw another growth spurt by our team." -- The Citadel coach Ed Conroy told the Post and Courier following his team's season-ending loss to College of Charleston in the Southern Conference tournament.
