THE GOOD NEWS
Five of the top seven scorers and five of the top seven rebounders are back next season. Four freshmen averaged a combined 30 points per game. Redshirt freshman Brian Wright joins the team. The 6-6 forward is the younger brother of former North Carolina star and current Golden State Warriors rookie Brandan Wright.

THE BAD NEWS
Lipscomb went 0-5 vs. in-state rivals Belmont and East Tennessee State this season, which won't exactly wow potential recruits. Better ball-handling would help. The Bisons had seven games with more than 20 turnovers and only four games with fewer than 10. The team also loses steady Eddie Ard, its leading scorer in each of the past three seasons.

KEY RETURNEES
Lipscomb is loaded with young talent at every position. Freshmen Adnan Hodzic (12.2) and Josh Slater (11.1) scored in double figures during conference play and classmates Brandon Brown (8.1 points, 5.0 boards) and Jimmy Oden (4.5 points, 2.9 assists) made consistent contributions.

ROSTER REPORT

--Senior forward Eddie Ard capped his college career with a game-high 19 points, six rebounds, six assists and three blocked shots in a first-round Atlantic Sun tournament loss to East Tennessee State. The second-team All-Atlantic Sun selection is the No. 16 scorer in Lipscomb history with 1,624 points.

--Point guard Josh Slater and center Adnan Hodzic earned spots on the Atlantic Sun's All-Freshman team after finishing the season strong. Slater scored in double figures in 11 of the last 15 games, including a 17-point, 10-rebound, seven-assist game at USC Upstate on Feb. 14. During conference play, Hodzic had four 20-point games and led the league in field-goal percentage (62.9).

I just set up a new college baseball forum and I'm trying to get the word spread. Should be fun once the season gets rolling.
