WHAT WENT RIGHT
F Shy Ely turned into the consistent offensive leader people envisioned during his inconsistent first two seasons. He averaged 15.7 points and 5.4 rebounds in conference play. Ely is a go-to player the Aces can build around.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Evansville's offense couldn't keep up with most teams. The Aces scored fewer than 50 points seven times, five in MVC games.
