FINAL RECORD
20-12, 13-7 in the Southern Conference (second in South Division)

WHAT WENT RIGHT
The Eagles used their senior-laden roster to put points on the board in bunches, averaging 75.0 points a game. The team's experience also helped on the boards, with GSU outrebounding opponents by nearly three a contest. Playing at home was a big plus for the Eagles, who went 11-2 in Statesboro.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Despite the team's experience, the Eagles struggled on the road, finishing 6-7 on the opposition's home floor. GSU also had its troubles at the free-throw line, connecting on just 66.2 percent of its attempts from the charity stripe. The defense really struggled down the stretch, allowing its last four opponents to score 80 or more points.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"I'm proud of our team and I think we've had a good year but I'm really disappointed in how we ended the year. We won 20 games, but to be honest with you, we've won 20 games three out of the last five years and it's not good enough anymore. We've got to get over the hump." -- Georgia Southern coach Jeff Price.
