G Tony Freeman had a fine season, averaging 13.8 points and 3.2 rebounds a game. G Justin Johnson combined with Freeman to make up a solid backcourt, and he averaged 11.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Iowa did not have any inside players average more than F Cyrus Tate's 8.1 points. F Jarryd Cole's promising season ended in late December because of knee surgery.
