WHAT WENT RIGHT
Mississippi Valley was impressive enough that the Delta Devils did not have to compete in a play-in game. The Delta Devils won their last nine games, including the three in the SWAC tournament to reach the Big Dance.

WHAT WENT WRONG
The few times Larry Cox was not effective, the Delta Devils struggled. Valley relied heavily on its defense because they were scored more than 70 points only 10 times.
