FINAL RECORD
15-16, 9-7 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (tied for fifth)

WHAT WENT RIGHT
The Aggies' experience worked for them early on, as the team jumped out to a 5-2 beginning to the MEAC schedule. A&T had one of the most explosive offenses in the league, averaging just under 70 points a game and shooting a league-best 45.5 percent from the field.

WHAT WENT WRONG
A&T had its problems on the defensive end, allowing opponents to score nearly 72 points a game. Turnovers were also a problem point, which didn't fit in with the senior-laden roster the team had. A road record of 5-11 also didn't jibe with a team that should have already learned how to win away from home.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"We are going to go from one of the smaller teams in the conference to one of the bigger teams. We had some talented young men with great potential who didn't play much this year because I believe young ones are supposed to learn from the seniors." North Carolina A&T coach Jerry Eaves
