FINAL RECORD
19-12, 12-8 in the Southern Conference (third in North Division)

WHAT WENT RIGHT
Kyle Hines continued to be a rock on the interior, leading the team -- and ranking among the league leaders -- in scoring, rebounding and field-goal percentage. The Spartans were one of the better defensive teams in the Southern Conference, ranking third in the league in points allowed at 66.5 per game. A late-season run saw the Spartans win six of seven before falling to conference champion Davidson in the conference tournament semifinals.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Despite the fact the team went into the season concentrating on becoming a more consistent road team, the Spartans finished below .500 on opponents' home floors. After a 7-3 start in conference play, UNCG suffered through a four-game losing streak that knocked them out of contention in the North Division.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"It was definitely not the storybook ending, but I am proud of my accomplishments. I did not attain the ultimate goal of a Southern Conference Championship. But all-in-all, I think I had a pretty good career. I have no regrets, I left it all out on the floor." -- UNC Greensboro forward Kyle Hines.
