FINAL RECORD
16-15, 11-5 in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (tied for second place)

WHAT WENT RIGHT
The Spartans were able to work well together offensively, putting together the third-highest points average in the conference. The aggressive defense the Spartans employed paid dividends, with NSU leading the MEAC with 8.65 steals per game. Home was where the Spartans were most comfortable, with only one loss coming at Echols Hall.

WHAT WENT WRONG
As good as the team was at home, the road packed a punch for the Spartans, with the team winning just six of 19 road games. The three-pointer wasn't kind to NSU on either end of the court, with the team struggling to shoot it (30.1 percent) or stop it (36.4 percent).

QUOTE TO NOTE
"I'm very proud of this team and the adversity they've overcome. We set the school Division I win record this season and we've built a good foundation for the future. Norfolk State coach Anthony Evans.
