THE GOOD NEWS
The top eight scorers return, and the nucleus could be together for two more years. Provided the Boilermakers stay healthy, it wouldn't be outlandish to think they could win 30 games next year.

THE BAD NEWS
Purdue's weakness is its strength. Or lack thereof. Playing so many young kids means they were pushed around too often in the post. That, of course, can be fixed. An offseason dedicated to hitting the weights should translate into more muscle. That could make the difference in a Big Ten championship and deep tournament run.

KEY RETURNEES
E'Twuan Moore (12.9 points, 2.6 assists), Robbie Hummel (11.4 points, 6.1 rebounds) and Chris Kramer (Big Ten defensive player of the year) give Purdue a solid trio around which great things can be expected. The Boilers' top eight scorers all return, leaving coach Matt Painter plenty of options next season.

ROSTER REPORT

--Assistant coach Cuonzo Martin was hired as head coach at Missouri State. His loss is a big blow to coach Matt Painter's staff.

--Robbie Hummel was named first team All-Big Ten, a remarkable accomplishment as a freshman, while Chris Kramer was named the defensive player of the year. E'Twaun Moore joined Hummel on the All-Freshman team.

--Tarrance Crump was the only senior on the team and therefore the only player not expected back next season. Crump came off the bench in all but one game for the Boilermakers, averaging 4.5 points in just over 15 minutes per game.
