Bobcats report: Getting inside
The proud two-year Quinnipiac career of DeMario Anderson ended with a 10-point loss at Mount St. Mary's in the opening round of the NEC Tournament. The Bobcats lost three of their four to settle for a 15-15 final record in Tom Moore's first year as a head coach, but it was the first .500 season for the program since the 2002-03 team went 17-12. Last year's mark was 14-15. Quinnipiac finished as the No. 5 seed and lost at No. 4 Mount St. Mary's, the team that went on to win the conference championship and the trip to the NCAA Tournament. Anderson scored 21 points in the final game of his college career after earning a spot on the All-NEC first team. He's gone, as is big man Karl Anderson, but Moore has young talent coming back next season. In fact, his youngsters made more and more of a mark as the season wore on.
