THE GOOD NEWS THE BAD NEWS KEY RETURNEES ROSTER REPORT --G DeMario Anderson was the NEC's leading scorer at 21.7 points per game, good enough for No. 16 in the country. He had a league-high 20 games of 20 points or more, finished with a streak of 48 straight double-figure games and was the leading active scorer in the NEC with 1,654 points. Anderson was second in the conference in defensive rebounds, sixth in rebounding and free throw percentage and 10th in assists. --Freshman F Justin Rutty led the league in field goal percentage. --Freshman G Evann Baker was second in the conference in free throw percentage. --G Brian Geffen was third in the NEC in 3-point percentage. --F James Feldeine was seventh in offensive rebounds. --The Bobcats are 4-5 in NEC Tournament play. They reached the title game in 2002. --Quinnipiac recorded its third .500 season as a Division I program. The Bobcats were 18-10 in 1999-2000 and 17-12 in '02-03. --Quinnipiac was 5-3 in games decided by five points or less this season. --Anderson's half-court buzzer-beater that beat Central Connecticut Feb. 28 was chosen as one of eight finalists for the Pontiac Game Changing Performance of the year.
