THE GOOD NEWS
The Bobcats frequently dug deep into bench, and most of that depth returns. Leading scorer Brandon Bush is back, as is standout junior transfer Brent Benson. Freshmen Ty Gough and Ryan White showed a lot of promise.

THE BAD NEWS
G Brandon Thomas is one of the three players that will leave. Thomas was the team's most consistent hustle player, a floor-burn, all-effort type. His stats weren't always gaudy, but he won't be easy to replace.

KEY RETURNEES
Texas State will have a nice nucleus next season. Bush, White and Benson will give the team strength in the backcourt. Gough is a potential standout down low. More consistency from the remaining positions would be welcome, though.

ROSTER REPORT

--G Brandon Bush closed his junior season with 1,092 points, good for 11th all-time in Texas State history. He is 17 points from joining the top 10.

--Senior wing Brandon Thomas had a team-leading 54 steals, placing him on the Bobcats' top 10 single-season list.
