SCOUTING REPORT The progress of 7-foot sophomore C Jerome Jordan has made Tulsa a different team down the stretch. Along with senior F Calvin Walls, he gives the Golden Hurricane a chance to win in the low post, especially now that he's become a more capable scorer. Senior PG Brett McDade makes the team go when he's on his game and sophomore G Ben Uzoh is Tulsa's most consistent scorer.
GAME REVIEW
Tulsa 61, Miami (Ohio) 45 (CBI first round)
Tulsa 69, Utah 60 (CBI quarterfinal)
GAME PREVIEW
vs. TBD (CBI semifinal)
IN FOCUS If Jerome Jordan can continue to score inside, the Golden Hurricane will continue to be a more balanced and productive offensive team. If not, Tulsa must try to grind out wins with its defense and rebounding.
ROSTER REPORT
--PG Brett McDade played one of the best games of his college career against Miami, scoring a game-high 22 points to go with six assists and no turnovers. In the process, McDade also became the 30th Tulsa player to reach 1,000 career points. "I thought Brett McDade's performance was phenomenal," Tulsa coach Doug Wojcik said. "We've kind of seen his career go full circle."
--After Jerome Jordan averaged a double-double during the C-USA tournament, Miami did all it could to stop him from scoring. Jordan responded by passing the ball out of tight spots to keep the ball moving. Jordan scored only six points on two of three shooting but he also grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked two shots.
--Senior F Calvin Walls benefited from the focus on Jordan, finishing with 10 points and eight rebounds.

Hey guys, I'm trying to set up a sim league starting next season, where a simulator plays out the game and gives you realistic scores and stuff, and your Golden Hurricane are still available! If you are interested or have any questions feel free to e-mail me at dosegorillaz@aim.com

I don't care what anyone else on these boards say. First of all, winning the tournament is an accomplishment and with two excellent sophmores and two good recruits coming in next year, this tournament will go a long way toward building your program and making you a contender for the NCAA's next year.

i hope every one is coming out to the game tomoorow. i know it just the cbi but i think it would be great spring board for tulsa to win it all, i think the score tomorrow will be 72-64 tulsa, you guys got any picks.
I can't believe it, Tulsa has a real shot at making the finals of C-usa, finally we are starting to get back to the way tulsa play about 6-7 years ago. It would be a total mind trip to see tulsa win the whole thing. Lets go Golden Cane's
Being a student during the Tubby Smith era and a season ticket holder during the Bill Self era, it's gratifying to see Doug W. take an 8 man team to the C-USA tourney finals.
But who the heck schedules a final game 12 hours after the semi-final game? This definitely favors Memphis.
Hopefully, this run solidifies TU's chances at the NIT, which they won under Buzz Pe
