FINAL RECORD
25-14, 8-8, tied for sixth.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
Tulsa won 15 of its last 19 games, finished 25-14, reached the finals of the Conference USA tournament and won the first College Basketball Invitational.

WHAT WENT WRONG
The Golden Hurricane got off to a slow start in its C-USA schedule, opening with a 2-6 record that included three overtime losses, another four-point loss and a loss to Memphis.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"We've created a great homecourt advantage here. There have always been 5,000 great fans here. But (the CBI was) an opportunity for people to come that don't get to come here often and get seats that they bought." -- Tulsa coach Doug Wojcik after the Golden Hurricane beat Bradley 70-64 for the CBI title in front of a sellout crowd of 8,455 fans at the Reynolds Center.
