--Sophomore G Rog'er Guignard shattered the school's 3-point record, making 97. The previous record was 77. Guignard also is tied for fourth on the career 3-pointers-made list with 163.

--The NCAA Tournament game gave senior C Jermaine Griffin a chance to move up the UTA career scoring list. Griffin scored 11 points against Memphis to finish with 1,234 points, good for seventh on the list. He moved up two spots with that one game.
