FINAL RECORD
13-17, 7-9 Southland Conference, fourth West Division, eighth overall.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
PG Devin Gibson and, for a while, F Travis Gabbidon. Gibson, hyped as one of the league's best freshmen, could be a Southland Conference force for seasons. He's an incredible player with great moves and a solid all-around game who should be better. Gabbidon emerged as a dominant player, but had his season cut short by a broken leg.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Injuries. No telling where the Roadrunners might have been if the team had stayed healthy. Nearly every player missed time due to injuries, as 10 sat out games due to injuries.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"We put a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, and he handled it tremendously. He has a great work ethic and is a high-character person who has battled through various injuries. We're looking forward to his continued development." -- UTSA coach Brooks Thompson, on freshman PG Devin Gibson.
