6-12, 7-25, tied for eighth in SWAC.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
Texas Southern scored 70 points or more on eight occasions and shot 31.8 percent from beyond the 3-point arc. Junior G Sollie Norwood was much more consistent this season, averaging 15.1 points and 343.9 minutes a game. Junior G Matthew Miller averaged 10.5 points and 29.5 minutes a game.

WHAT WENT WRONG
Besides losing Jacques Jones after the third game of the season to a shoulder injury, the Tigers struggled defensively, allowing opponents 74.9 points a game. Only two regular starters averaged in double figures in scoring. The Tigers won only four games on their home court.
