FINAL RECORD
12-20, 4-14, 9th in the Missouri Valley.

WHAT WENT RIGHT
Senior G Matt Braeuer gave WSU its most consistent performance. He quickly picked up the new system and ran it well. WSU picked up steam when he returned from a concussion, winning two games and losing three in overtime. Senior F P.J. Couisnard finished strong after an inconsistent start to the season. Junior F Ramon Clemente found his scoring touch in the final weeks of the season.

WHAT WENT WRONG
The injury to Braeuer threw WSU off course irreparably. The Shockers could not replace his experience and understanding of the offense. Depth was a problem all season. Coach Gregg Marshall rarely knew who was ready to play well.

QUOTE TO NOTE
"Life throws curveballs at you and you've got to react and you've got to fight through it. Give it your best, and that's what we did." -- Wichita State guard Matt Braeuer on the trials of his senior season.
