THE GOOD NEWS
Green Bay loses only one senior in reserve forward Tevah Morris (1.8 points, 1.7 rebounds per game). Nine returning players averaged at least 13 minutes per game this season -- experience that should pay off in 2008-09. Recruit Brent Eaton, a 6-5 guard from Middlebury, Ind., made 56 3-pointers and averaged 22.2 points per game as a senior and finished his prep career with 1,565 points.

THE BAD NEWS
The Phoenix went 3-12 on the road, including victories at Detroit (7-23), South Dakota State (8-21) and Loyola-Chicago (12-19). If they want to become a contender in the Horizon and return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the mid-1990s, they must win more consistently outside the Resch Center.

KEY RETURNEES
All five starters shot better than 47 percent from the field and all five return next year, led by double-digit scorers Mike Schachtner (15.8), Tillema (12.5) and Fletcher (10.1). Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year Terry Evans ranked in the top five in the conference in steals, blocks and rebounds.

ROSTER REPORT

--Junior forward Mike Schachtner earned second-team All-Horizon honors for a second straight year after averaging 15.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game and shooting 45.7 percent from 3-point range and a league-leading 90.4 percent from the foul line. He ranks 10th in Green Bay history with 1,285 points.

--Junior forward Terry Evans, a three-time All-Defensive Team selection, was second in the conference in steals (2.0 per game), third in blocked shots (1.1 per game) and fifth in rebounding (6.9 per game). With 170 career steals, he needs just seven more to break the Phoenix career record held by Frank Nardi (1985-88).
