THE GOOD NEWS
There will be a lot of players who saw court time this year returning in 2008-09. Noah Dahlman played very well as a freshman and will be returning, as will Junior Salters, the team's leading returning scorer. The defense showed signs of being very good in 2007-08, and coach Mike Young will certainly try to get the team to improve on that.

THE BAD NEWS
Any time a pair of senior guards graduates, it can set a program back. Shane Nichols and Drew Gibson were extremely good for the Wofford program, and they'll be missed for more than just their play on the court. The team will need to work out its turnover woes without the senior pair.

KEY RETURNEES
Noah Dahlman established himself as a presence on the interior in his freshman season. He should be even better with a year playing in the paint under his belt. Tyler Whatley showed some defensive presence for the Terriers, something they could use more of in 2008-09.

ROSTER REPORT

--F Noah Dahlman was the top field-goal shooter in the league, hitting 60.9 percent of his field-goal attempts on the season.

--G Drew Gibson finished the season third in the league in assists, averaging 6.0 per game.

--G Shane Nichols connected on 2.75 3-pointers per game, good for third among Southern Conference players this year.
