THE GOOD NEWS
Yale found its foundation for the 2008-09 season when junior Fs Ross Morin and Travis Pinick stepped up late in the season.

THE BAD NEWS
The Bulldogs will need a lot more than Ross Morin and Travis Pinick, especially with the loss of four seniors, including leading scorer Eric Flato. The Bulldogs are desperate for scoring help in the backcourt.

KEY RETURNEES
Ross Morin, Travis Pinick, and Gs Alex Zampier and Porter Braswell.

ROSTER REPORT

--Ross Morin will be Yale's leading returning scorer after averaging 10.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per game for the season and 11.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in the Ivy League.

--If Travis Pinick can do more of what he did in the final weekend of the season, he'll be one of the Ivy League's better players in 2008-09. Pinick closed out the season with 16 points, 14 rebounds, five assists and three steals in the victory over Harvard, and 12 points and a career-high 19 rebounds in the win over Dartmouth.

--Alex Zampier became a valuable player off the bench for Yale and averaged 7.7 points in 19.2 minutes per game, but he will have to step up his role next season and be a more consistent scorer.
