Texas Tech gave it a good effort, but there was no stopping Butler during the Great Alaska Shootout. The Bulldogs simply shot lights out. They opened the tournament with 17 3s against Michigan and ended with 16 3s vs. the Red Raiders. They finished with a tourney record 47 3-pointers, smashing the old mark of 34 set by UC Irvine back in 1990.
