Kevin Smith Junior running back Kevin Smith is not only the nation's leading rusher, but it also ranked No. 1 in the CBSSports.com Player Rankings. With Smith did it again this weekend, rushing for 284 yards with four touchdowns in the Conference USA Championship game. Smith is now just 180 yards from breaking Barry Sanders record of 2,628 yards in a single season.
