--WR Dominick Goodman returns as the Bearcats' top downfield threat. Goodman led the team with 869 yards receiving to go along with eight TDs.

--CB Mike Mickens earned All-America honors after recording 53 tackles and six interceptions as a junior.

SPRING MOVERS

QB Dustin Grutza -- Grutza's experience as a two-year starter and ability to manage the spread offense has drawn praise from the coaching staff, making him the early front-runner for the starting QB job.

RB John Goebel -- Goebel is a physical running back competing for a starting job. The Bearcats, who lost three senior running backs from last season, like his bruising style.

DE Conner Barwin -- Barwin converted from tight end to defensive end this season. Head coach Brian Kelly has been impressed by Barwin's ability to make the transition quickly.

LB Ryan Manalac -- Manalac had two interceptions in the Bearcats' spring game. He's poised to be the captain of Cincinnati's staunch defense.
