Highlighting top Yankees prospects for '09
It is rare to stay this, but stuck in the middle of the AL East are the Yankees, who will retain the highest payroll in baseball. However, they really don't have a lot of young talent to work with and really need Phil Hughes and Ian Kennedy to come to life in spring training.

Highlighting top Rockies prospects for '09
The Rockies didn't quite have the same year they did in 2007 but still found full-time major leaguers in Ian Stewart and Chris Iannetta to add to an already outstanding young nucleus. The question remains the pitching, but their top prospect is a guy who could really help fill that hole in the near future.

Highlighting top Red Sox prospects for '09
Our AL East prospects previews continue with the Red Sox, who graduate a quartet of potential perennial All-Stars in Jacoby Ellsbury, Justin Masterson, Jed Lowrie and Clay Buchholz. The next wave is not quite that good, but Michael Bowden stands to be a significant contributor in Fantasy 2009.

Hightlighting top Blue Jays prospects for '09
The Blue Jays are making a comeback in the prospects category will some real productive draft classes. Travis Snider is ready to play in the big leagues at 21 and a trio of 2007 draftees A.P. Arencibia, Brett Cecil and Brad Mills might not be far behind.
