Will Shaun Livingston ever be the same?

Back in 2004, Shaun Livingston was drafted 4th overall by the Clippers, and drawing comparisons to Magic Johnson.  During his first 3 years, with the Clippers, he mostly split PG duties with Sam Cassell, and showing great potential in the process.  But in a game in February of 2007, he tore almost everything in his left knee while going up for a fast break layup.  There was even talk about amputating his leg, but youth is on his side and Shaun is ahead of schedule in his recovery.

After missing a season and a half, he is now expected to be back with the Clippers next season, but questions remain.  Is he coming back too early?  Will he ever be the same?

Will Shaun Livingston ever be the same?

I know Willis MGahee's injury wasn't as bad but everybody thought he wouldn't ever recover

but he was pretty good with the Bills and is good with the Ravens now

the running and jumping and physical contact may take time to get used to but I think with time he could get at least close to what he was

he may take it easy when going in for layups for a while but I think he'll be ok
