Southern California?

Some of you may have seen this thread, but it is still boggling my mind. Check this out:

USC:

Record- 17-9

Status- Ranked #23 in CBS top 25 and one

Best wins- UCLA, Oregon, Oklahoma

Notable Losses- Mercer

SOS- 20

Last 10- 7-3

Remaining on Schedule- @Arizona, @Arizona State, California, Stanford

Kentucky:

Record- 15-10

Status- Hated

Best wins- Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Arkansas

Notables losses- Gardner Webb, San Diego

SOS- 19th

Last 10- 8-2

Remaining on Schedule- Ole Miss, @Tennessee, @South Carolina, Florida

Record advantage- USC 1.5 game lead

Status advantage- USC

Notable Wins advantage- Kentucky

Notable Losses advantage- USC

SOS advantage- Kentucky

Last 10 games advantage- Kentucky

How can people be such haters? USC obviously doesnt belong in anybody's top 26. If they do, Kentucky deserves a tournament bid.

Southern California?

I posted this on your other thing.

Heres a few other things

USC has a higher RPI and Non-conference RPI, the Non-conf SOS are both about 100
USC is 4-1 against 50-100 and UK is 0-3
Both have 3 wins against top 50, USC has more loses to them though.

USC has 2 loses outside of the top 50, UK has 5.

I think The loses has a big part of it. USC with only 2 loses to teams outside the top 50 is pretty impressive. While I wouldnt rank USC in the top 25 I think USC has quite a bit better resume than UK. If I were ranking USC Id put them around 35 and UK 65-70.

Pomeroy actually has USC rated at 23rd which is usually pretty accurate
