January Sports scene

So we embark on this conference championship week here in NY with excitement at this time of the year for the first time in 7 years. It was 7 years ago that the Giants had destroyed the Minnestoa vikings 41-0 on the way to losing to the Ravens in the Super bowl.

We have endured some devestating losses. From the Niners come back from 38-14 down and even to the Jets melt down in Pitt a few years back.

couple that with some really bad times with my knicks and rangers and you can understand why this is so exciting and refreshing to the city of NY and the fans of NY.

Whether the Giants pull of the upset this Sunday in Lambeau, I am proud of waht this team has accomplished. Especially Eli manning. Man he has taken some major criticism from the people in the media, around the country and even his own fans. But he has done nothing but suck it up and take it like a man.

He has officially won over me and no matter how he performs sunday(i think he'll be the Eli of the last 3 weeks) you will see more of him in the coming years like this.

Well I hope to hear from some of you on the January sports scene here in NY. Take care now.
