Thoughts On Robert Horry and Spurs Fans

Robert Horry's dirty play cheapened a great victory by the Spurs tonight and to see the fans cheer a guy for hurting someone made me sick.

About Thoughts On Robert Horry and Spurs Fans
I would like to be able to congratulate the Spurs and their win over my Hornets tonight. I thought the Spurs played well as a team tonight. However, everybody knows that David West has been having back problems. Robert Horry gave West a very hard shot in the back which I am sure was a designed play to hurt West. Congratulations. It worked. Now don't get me wrong, having David West in the game wasn't going to help the Hornets win tonight. They were simply outplayed all night long. The worst part of the whole thing was the classless fans in San Antonio. After Horry purposely injured West, they were chanting Horry's name. Why were they chanting his name. Perhaps because of his clutch shooting? Let's look at his stats for the game. Pts. - 0, Reb. - 4, Ast. - 1, Pers. Fouls - 5. His most outstanding stat is personal fouls. So, they were just chanting his name because he injured a player from the other team and took him out of the game. Nice! I know many of you will come out and argue from all kinds of angles. some of you will tell me what a winner Horry is and how many rings he has. You cannot change the fact that Horry is a dirty player (he has proved it time and time again) and that cheering a guy for nothing more than causing an injury is a classless move, so argue all you want. Just so I am clear, I would not want (and certainly not cheer) for one of our guys to intentionally try to take out one of the Spurs players. So you can save the "if the shoe were on the other foot" comments. I wanted to see good basketball between two excellent teams and to hopefully see my team come out on top.
