Draft recap (kind of) :
San Diego Gulls surprised everyone with their first round pick.
Taking Crosby over Brodeur showed real guts and desire to bring the Cup to San Diego.
Sidney Crosby will be a true leader on that team.
Next surprise was Tarkus taking Rathje, the worst player in the league, instead of Jack Johnson last in the draft. Only time will tell if the Poo Poo's fans will put up with another losing season.
The best pick coming from today's draft has to be Jerks on Ice taking Bertuzzi in the 18th. What a grab! Also worth noting is the Duck Hunters selecting only Anaheim Ducks players out from under the GM of the Gulls.
One thing is for sure... things are going to get heated.
All fans are anxious to get the season underway!
Winner of this league gets $100 towards the purchase of NHL tickets of their choice.
Money must be used to purchase tickets... not beer.

I am willing to give up Avery. : (
But I want Kopitar.
MK, if you can find someone good enough to take from someone who wants Avery (NYR?) then I will take Kopitar off your hands.

Hey whats up fellow fantasy hockey'ers.....Sorry, I couldnt make the draft, but my weekend was action packed...Went to sporting games like it was nobody's business....
I'm not too happy with my team, although i do have 3 solid goalies...My offense and defense is nothing to be desired...If any1 wants a goalie, I'm willing to part ways with one of them for scoring....
I did pick up two young gun Rangers this morning...Ryan Callahan and Marc Staal....Expect big things from my boys!!!!
PS...where can I find the rules on the page...Like how many people I start and if its a weekly league or daily league??? Any info would be awesome...Watch out for the Blue Shirts in this league...I'm pissed I couldnt do the draft live...
