Yeah, well, I really believe that the Eagles can turn it around. They were without Sheppard, Dawkins, Thomas, Smith....and oh yeah, Brian Westbrook (LT who? haha). The guy they missed the most though, was Thomas, because Winston Justice worked about as well as an open door at the left tackle position. They've got the time over the bye, and Andy Reid is a very smart coach.....I trust that man.
Its the Padres' own fault they have the playoff tonight. Why the crap did they start Tomko instead of Peavy? That was sooooo stupid. Even Uncle Chuck wouldn't do that. That said, I want the Pads to win, because I really don't want to face the Rockies. But I really don't think that the team cares who they play. This team has such great chemistry and they really love and appreciate the fans, and showed it by taking the clubhouse celebration outside to the field in front of and with all the fans. That shows a lot. This team is something special. They absolutely deserve to be in the spot they are in right now.
Don't worry, mk, I am very excited about my Flyers, but I hold all three of my teams on the same level. Being asked who I like better, Phils, Flyers or Eagles, is like asking a parent who their favorite child is. But man, I love this Flyers team. They are fast, but they didn't lose that gritty edge to them. You mess with someone on that team, and there's at least one guy on every line/defensive pair that will be right there to drop the gloves with you. Bring on the Pens.
