What happened to him? Did he redshirt? Kicked off the team? Academically ineligible? I haven't seen him on the roster and there is no news on him that I can find.

he decided to leave the team. I dont know why and it was a surprise to the players and coaching staff. Its unfortunate because he was one of the better players on the team with some good potential. They dont have much depth at F and hes a huge loss.

QC went to Barton County JC in Kansas.  he's avg'ing 16ppg right now and is taking like 27% of the teams shots right now.. he's BMOC (on a lil campus though).  why did he transfer?  i was shocked but not totally upset.

he was so soft at times but i think he could have gotten to be solid.  especially with burrell around him to make him better.

I guess because the team is just so bad, there's really nothing but negatives to talk about. I could discuss the stagnant offensive play, the lack of any kind of pace with this offense, the fact that the Johnnies turn the ball over nearly twice as much as the opposition, the questionable player rotations / combinations decided upon by Norm, etc. St. John's may win one more game in the Big East this year. Beyond that I will be shocked.

I agree that the Red Storm will probabaly only win one more game this year, which I admit is depressing.  I was just looking at the schedule and with 11 Big East games yet, this team could conceivably win 5 of them.  After the Georgetown game they play 4 straight games against South Florida, Rutgers, a home game against Providence, and a game against a Cincinnati team theyve already beaten this year.  Then they play Seton Hall at home in March.  That would give the Johnnies 5 Big East wins and they could flirt with the Big East tournament.  The problem is although this team could win those games with the talent theyve got, theyve shown no fire in the games they play.  I remember last year, with a less talented team, they almost always seemed to be in the games, whether they were winning or losing.  I dont see the same spark in this team and thats where the real disappointment lies.

He listened to some people he shouldn't have who gave him some really bad advice and thought that this small college was a step towards another big time program that didnt and wont happen now.

he has joined the list of st. johns players making stupid decisions to leave SJU...(eric barkley, marcus hattan just to name a few)
