There was reason to be excited at the half vs. St. John's when the Knights were up 45-42.  Eric Hazard, Manny Ubilla, and Sean Baptiste were making lots of 3-pointers.  However, in the second half, not much went right as the Knights lost 92-67.  The shooting went cold, and the team got tired.  For the first thirty minutes, Fairleigh Dickinson only played six players.  Bernell Murray picked up two technical fouls late in the second half and was ejected.

It wasnt a game we were expected to win. The 2007-2008 knights may have a rough time, but we have a lot of young players coming up. Bernell Murray's carear was destroyed after the missed foul shot in the '06 title game vs Monmouth. He has never been the same since. Cameron Tyler was suspended 11 games for academic reasons (I hear it may be extended). Manny Ubilla is by far our best player. Hopefully we can soon get back to the glory days of 2004 and 2005. Tom green has his hands full here. As a season ticket holder and loyal fan I speak for all of us when I say that we can expect many big things from the 08-09 knights and on from there!

FDU has two of the best players in the NEC conference, Sean Baptiste (one of the top scorers in the NEC and the best defensive player on FDU's roster) and Manny Ubilla (tremendous scorer). Eric Hazard and Bernell Murray are key. They have to pick it up, Baptiste and Ubilla are combining for over 50%  of the offense. If Hazard and Murray can pick it up offensively, FDU will defintely make it to the NEC tournament. With two of the NEC best FDU can make noise in the NEC this year and possibly do "BIG THINGS".  Defense has to pick up and they play as a team they will be a very hard time to handle if they do those things.

I agree with Baptist and Ubilla, but the problem is that we have no depth.  The same 5-6 players are in the whole game and we wear down.  It would be nice to have a mensah peterson or tamien trent now.  I think we can compete with any team in the league as we have shown, but finishing is a problem.  Another problem is  rebounding.  Galvin isnt ready and all hazard has is the 1 handed three.  Lyttle and pursly will get some valuable time though.  Next year we look good, with ERIC MOORE, RON BROWN II TYLER, and some improving players.  Another tough thing is that jordan staytician is hurt and out for the year.  He looked pretty good in the first few games.  We also need to get lawence Brown the 7-1' guy in, and LEARN HOW TO PLAY IN THE FIRST HALF!  we had Wagner if we didn't did ourselves into such a big hole.  Thats all I got for now .      &nbs p;      &n bsp;             &nbs p;         &nbs p;      &n bsp;             &nbs p;      &n bsp;             &nbs p;   GO KNIGHTS!!!

I agree with you on Ubilla and Baptise, but the problem is we have no depth.  The same 5-6 guys play the whole game, so we run out of gas.  Another problem is rebounding, Galvin isnt ready and all hazard has is the 1 handed three.  A tough loss was Jordan Styztician.  He is out for the year and he looked pretty good in the first few games.  We will have ERIC MOORE, RONALD BROWN ll, SEAN BAPTISTE, AND TYLER (assuming he goes to class) next year.  We also need to get 7-1' Lawrence Brown some action.  How great would it be to have a tamien trent or mensah peterson now?  Klabier, Crosorial, Timberlake, Harris, Peoples, Gadi Buch and so much more.  Bernell murray is a shame.  He never got over missing that foul shot vs. monmouth in the title game in '06 and has gotten worse as time goes on.  I do hear we are recruiting some good players from Canada for next years team in addition the the formentioned.  Thats all I have for now!         &nbs p;      &n bsp;            GO KNIGHTS!!!

just when we thought things couldn't get worse, they did.  SEAN BAPTISTE IS OUT FOR THE YEAR WITH A BROKEN JAW.  we only dress 7-8 players a game, which means a lot  more playing time for younger guys.....
