Iowa should be out of the Big Ten

There are 2 very good reasons why no Big Ten school will ever joint the MAC.

(1) Money.

(2) Money.

If you can't figure it out from there, just ask.

Your teams played some very good b-ball when I was at State in the 70s. You gave as good as you got. You still do.

It's funny to hear such talk against Spartan fans.  I don't think I've trashed talked any of you unless you're being plain ignorant like the orginator of this board.  We're all tied to one conference so let the bashing be on ACC, Big 12 or Uof M boards not the rest of the Big Ten boards.  Most people that actually attended State have enough mental capacity to appriciate most schools in the Big Ten that don't have an oversized skunk for a mascot.

laffeyhawk - yes, we had another painful game last night but we won.  We are now setting school records at 19-2.  Yes, that record is better then the 1979 and 2000 national championship years.  Go figure you can be 19-2 and people think you're over rated.

Hey MSU - I think a lot of us replied back meaning to really only bash the original poster and also to show pride in our school.

If he meant to hack us off, well obviously it worked and we fought back with a vengeance.  I would say most Hawkeye fans root for any Big 10 school as long as we are not playing them, in the bowls or March Madness.  I know I do and was glad to see victories by Penn State, Michigan, Purdue and yes, I was rooting for you to beat BC. 

I think Dantonio will get you turned around, but I also hope we beat you every time we play. 

I totally respect what Izzo has done and for Iowa to be one of two teams to have beaten you this year is really a testament to how any good team can have a bad night.

I hope if you get matched up with KU you just kill them! 

So really I hope we can end this thread now...similar to a lot of folks we are just defensive cause we were attacked.  I for one, don't go to other school boards to attack, but have only ever left positive comments.  Let's just all forgive and forget this thread forever!!!

Last time I checked, MSU was known as "the Harvard of the Upper Midwest" - very solid academic achievement. Rank the respective med, law, engineering, writing schools, etc.... and then talk about academic standards.

Ignorance is bliss indeed.

Iowa has made the most on the court with a team that had few expectations.  MSU has underchieved, yet again.

As for academics, please check the facts, if you can, literally.

Sometimes ignorance is best served by shutting that pie hole.

Hey, who cares about academics while talking about athletics? Not the NCAA, so you should not care either.
