Iowa should be out of the Big Ten

Jeff Peterson was commited to going to princeton and decided to decommit and come to iowa. In order to play at princeton, I'm pretty sure that you need that inorder to get into princeton you need to be pretty smart. Now he came over to iowa and im sure the academic accolades of iowa was a factor in his and his families mind. So before you say they should leave the big ten based on the actions of several lead headed players you must realize that as soon as they started trouble they were suspended and kicked off the team. Teams like MSU and LSU just suspend their players and let them keep playing. Once your gone from iowa, your basically done.

So now I ask where is Iowa compared to Michigan St.?  Closer to the top than Michigan State!

Again, Iowa is near the top academically where as Michigan State is at the bottom.  Now as for who is carrying the load I believe that Iowa is holding their own while Michigan State is behind Iowa.

O my God are you kidding me!! You need to quit smoking on that pipe and wake up! You are right are basketball team is down, but we are rebuilding with a new coach. The football program will be back hell we were one of the best team in the leage three years ago.  Honors keep piling in for the wrestlers and yes they are the NCAA champs this year. Last time I checked Iowa has one of the best if not the best Safety in the NFL in Sanders. If you would like me to keep going I can but for a MSU fan like you all you can live on in Mens basketball. Yes you have a great team but you need to get your facts strait

Captainson....I, along with all other Hawkeye faithful, (not just those from the U of I, but all Iowans alike) shudder at the fact that you would actually post something like this.  I happen to be very proud of the education I received from the Iowa public school system and the degree I attained while at the University of Iowa.  The state's scholastic requisits, I strongly believe, exceed those of most states in the US.  I'm not saying that Iowa is any better or worse than MSU (they are both very reputable schools), but I don't think any stones should be cast in our direction for our scholastics or athletics.  What is MSU's record against Iowa all time in basketball and football?

Football:  Iowa 19 - 17 -2

Basketball: MSU 57-51

Athletically, Iowa and MSU are pretty even, maybe you should throw yourselve out too, right?
