Congrats to the Flyers for a great run...and to their fans, you're a classier group than you get credit for.  You guys should feel good know what a great core a talent your team has.  Here's to many more years of conference finals.

Thanks, Tark.  Your boys went from the cellar to the final four in one season, so while that might be a tough pill to swallow right now, you definitely know your team is headed in the right direction.  I have a feeling these teams are going to meet in the post-season a few more times with these core players going head-to-head.

BTW, just thought I would point this out ... the only way a team from the Atlantic has been knocked out of the playoffs is by another team from the Atlantic.  I'm not sure if our conference is the best in all of hockey, but it is definitely the best in the east.

This is why I like this thread so much....classy fans, gracious in their victories, humble in their defeats.  My congratulations to both the Flyers and Penguins, great seasons for both teams.

Now, I can only hope the Red Wings close out the Stars, setting up a great Stanley Cup finals.

Tark...just came here to give you and the Flyers some love....you guys beat two Division Champs and were the surprise team in this years postseason. Congratulations on a great season and with Stars and young talent locked up for the future, I expect to see the Flyers near the top of the Eastern Conference and Atlantic Division fighting those dreaded Penguins(the Penguins will be the new NHL team everyone will love to hate)....(hopefully my boys the Hurricanes can make the postseason next year!!!)

Good luck, Pens! I think you guys will do a fantastic job at representing the East.

Congrats, Flyers. I had a great time watching this season. Waaaay more fun than last year

So here's me shedding a little light on the rivalry between the Flyers and the Pens.  My brother and I live in different cities now, but make a regular habit of talking on Skype during the games.  At the end of yesterday's it dawned on me that I was so happy we beat the flyers that it took a few minutes to sink in that the P
