well, its nice to see someone other than akron fans giving us a little respect. anyway we dont really start a true center. our "center" is jeremiah woods. hes actually a forward and a beast at that. hes a 6' 6" 245 lb rebounding machine. strong off the boards and is pretty agile for his size. has a decent jumper and goes to the hoop well. he usually takes care of the big guys. he gets a lot of attention from opponents which allows us to throw outside for the 3. From what im hearing around the league (other than miami fans) we may actually be better this year than last years 26 win team. started off slow with a couple bad losses to teams we should have beaten by 20 or 25 points but they were working on finding a gaurd to replace dru joyce, akrons all time leading assist man and 1000 point man. we still arent playing to our potential but by the time the MAC tourney rolls around we will be ready to make a run in that touney as well in the NCAA if they allow us to get in this year.
