I went 4-0 this weekend but what I really want to know is what was the other official that boxed in the play with Ward and the Jax defender looking at? he had the best angle to see Ward pulling on the facemask. I'm Glad it didn't cost Jax the game. Now onto my picks...
I agree ceahawk..That game was the worst officiating in the playoffs so far. There were bad calls both ways in that game.
my picks? what I want to happen, and what I think will happen are 2 different things. this week is tough, all the teams left are worthy of winning this week, so it should be good.
GB will take Seattle. homefield will be advantage, and Farve probably wants this more than anyone right now.
Dallas/NY.....Dallas is the better team, but the Giants are playing much better now, and want to slay that dragon. I think NY will step it up. and win in a close one. It will depend on TO, but, Eli has impressed me the past two weeks.
SD/Indy....I HOPE, SD wins obviously, but, they got a lot of work to do to win this one. Rivers has now proved, he can do a lot without his major weapons, but, Indy has the best QB in football. He won't be shut down s much as last time. I HOPE SD wins, but, I have doubts.
JAX/PAT.... Again, this is tough. They are very different teams. a bit of a mismatch, anything can happen. I HOPE JAX win, however, I think the PATS will prevail.
Truthfully, All remaining teams are capable of taking their opponents...good luck to all!

I went 3-1 against the spread this week. I missed the TB vs. NY game. I didn't see Eli playing like he did. Still my fault. I still won some serious money (A whole 15 $ for fun) against my cousin.
All in all some great football. I will not make this weeks picks yet, I need to see the final line and look at some stats. (no stat nerd)

There is nothing better than reading and hearing all week how your team is going to get beat, everyone in the world outside of the PNW picking against your team and to come away with a victory, it is pure enjoyment that really only a Seahawks fan can understand. Not just winning the game but the extra enjoyment of proving everyone else wrong. I'm a total homer for my Seahawks and proud of it!
As far as this next game against the Packers, this will truly be a major upset to go into Lambeau Field and pullout a playoff victory. Whats the point spread right now like 8 points? This should be a great playoff game....gotta love playoffsl!!!
Go Seahawks!!!!

Dynamite picks. Maybe you should drop the game picking business like you dropped your barber cue ball.

Wildcard weekend is a toss up, the fact that a lot of people are 4-0 on here means nothing...Everyone just took the team with the better record to win...And things played out.
GB over Seattle- GB has a better Defense than Washington and Hasselbeck didn't look all that good yesterday and their running game is non existant. SHould be a good game though.
Dallas over Giants- Eli looks good, but this stage is to much for him. And Hamlin will take away Boss who seems to be Eli's, Gates this late season stretch.
Colts over SD- This game isn't even close...I'm thinking like 41-17. The Chargers looked horrible yesterday. LT may be quick, but so is the Colts D. And if they wait until the 2nd half to start scoring points they will be down 17 already. Manning will not throw 6 picks this game.
And of course my favorite NE over Jags big time- For the past week the Pats have been able to practice for a Run heavy team(either, Steelers, Titans, Jags)...So don't think they didn't get that worked out. Jags only won because of Big Ben's turnovers and the points they scored off of them...Don't expect Brady to give them that charity. Jags Passing D isn't very good, and they may be down a DT. Pats should win big in this game. MJD and Taylor are great, but we saw what happens when they are kept quiet...Gerrad has to throw and he threw two INTs. Don't see the Jags keeping pace with the Pats.

Here's the early lines
GB -8/40
NE -13/47'
Ind -8'/46
Dal -7'/47
All the favorites should cover. Indy is easy money. & I like the over in the GB game.

Well the one thing we know is that the top 4 seeds have only advanced 35% of the time. I think we will see Dallas get beat by double digits, TO can't be healthy enough to be severe threat.
I think we see Indy win, this is thier time of the year, they have experience.
I think we see Green Bay lose, this whole season has seem to be a dream sequence, and all good things must come to end.
I think most of us want to see the Patriots lose, I know I do, but does that mean the Jags who beat my Steelers can pull it off. NO. Pats will lose but that will have to wait one more week.

I hate picking favorites, b/c underdogs are just so much more fun, but all of the favorites should win this weekend. I think the best team besides the 4 favorites is Jacksonville, but unfortunately they have to play New England, and I just can't pick against a 16-0 team that has Tom Brady playing QB. Based on matchups I would say that New York has a shot to upset Dallas. The Giants are on fire and Dallas has been playing subpar as of late. The week off tends to hurt teams limping to the finish line as well. I will stil take Dallas, since they are definately the better team, but I'm giving the Giants the best shot of the dogs to pull an upset. I would say Jacksonville if it were any other team than the Pats. In fact, I would take Jacksonville to beat either Green Bay or Dallas, and give them a shot against Indy. But, I can't pick against New England like I said. How can I?
Seattle @ Green Bay
Packers 31 &n bsp; Seahawks 21
Jacksonville @ New England
Patriots 27 Jaguars 13
San Diego @ Indianapolis
Colts 38 &n bsp; Chargers 14
NY Giants @ Dallas
Cowboys 34 &n bsp; Giants 28

Congrats to everyone who hit their picks! I was rewarded for my bold choices with a 1-3 week. Ouch.
However, I think I will fare a little better in this round. My picks...
Colts defeat the Chargers
Patriots top the Jaguars
Cowboys over the Giants
Packers down the Seahawks
I'll try to put together another results post later in the week.
