Did you know that teams who lost to the Pats were a combined 4-11 and the following week. And out of those teams, no one was able to go on the road and win after a loss to the Pats. Here is a list of teams that lost to the Pats and then lost on the road the following week: Jets, Chargers, Bengals, Colts, Bills, Jets. Now I know the Jets stink, but it does say something when no team has been able to bounce back and win on the road the next week after playing the Pats.

The Giants played well last week, but their season will come to an end against the Bucs.

Picks:

Bucs (-2.5) vs. Giants: See above note.

Seahawks (-3.5) vs. Redskins: The Sean Taylor story is amazing and it would be nice to see the Skins win. Too bad Todd Collins is about to get exposed.

Jaguars (-1.5) @ Steelers: I honestly believe Pittsburgh is the better team when healthy, too bad they aren't. And since when does a team travel to the Steel City and lay points in a playoff game. It kind of tells you all you need to know.

Chargers (-8.5) vs. Titans: Lock it up. I would lay 17 with the Chargers here. Tennessee stinks, Vince Young is hurt and the Chargers and playing their best ball. Oh did I mention that Tennessee flat out stinks? Most fans will be watching reruns of their favorite sitcom half way through the 3rd quarter. This game is a blowout.

Giants are playing a team that has not right to be in the playoffs.  Quick how many winning teams did the Bucs beat all year?  Okay i will wait,.......got it, thats right, ZERO. Very good.  The made the playoffs only because some team from that division had to make it.

The Giants will win easily, along with the Seahawks, Chargers and Steelers.

Quick #2

Which team played more teams with a winning record? I'll tell right now, it wasn't the Bucs.

The Giants are riding a huge wave of momentum with the Bucs have not played a team with a winning record since November, so I think the edge goes to Big Blue.

be careful of the homefield advantage.....both the gints and skins are playing well but, going on the road against two veteran qb's (hasselback and garcia) and above average defenses will be tough to beat.

It's hilarious when I hear Giant fans talking about the "huge wave of momentum", they are coming off of a loss where their offense fell apart when it mattered most. Momentum would be coming off of a couple big wins. Why don't you ask the Redskins who has the better team? We beat them with our second string QB.

inmymind should be more like out of your mind.  Please get facts straight before making an idiotic post like that.  The Bucs won their division, unlike the Giants.  That is why the Bucs deserve to be there.  The Giants have only beaten one team with a winning record and the Bucs beat Two teams with a winning record.  So I guess you need to check your facts again.  The Bucs schedule was not in their control, they simply went out and won the games they needed to.

And no there are no moral victories in football and no gaining momentum by losing games, especially when you lost the game because of your inconsistent quarterback again.  The only thing the Giant-Patriot game told the world is that Eli will choke when the game is on the line.

The Bucs are well rested and ready to go, I do not think it will even be close on Sunday, Bucs win!!!  As soon as the Giants fall behind early Jacobs will not even be a factor in the game and it will once again rest on Eli versus the best defense in the NFC, I like our chances.

You're a hypocrit. It's amazing. You spill out that crap about the Bucs, and yet you turn around and say the Giants beat bad teams. Last I checked, the Giants schedule wasn't in their control, either. I've never seen somebody twist words like you do just to make them fit an argument. The Giants beat bad teams, but the Bucs beating bad teams is "simply going out and winning games they needed to." Nice...

I know your reading skills are subpar gogmen but if you would please take the time to read all posts, I was responding to someone who had quoted the Bucs beating bad teams.  I did not bring this up, I simply responded.   The simple fact is the Bucs beat more teams with winning records than the Giants did.

I can read, bimbo. You said the Giants beat bad teams, but the Bucs "can't control their schedule and beat the teams they had to." You're a hypocrit. You can't use that argument to support your Bucs, and then just suddenly abandon it for the Giants.

And big f**in' whoop. The Giants beat one team with a winning record, while the Bucs beat two. Big difference. And the Giants play in a division where there are no teams under .500, the Bucs play in one where there are three.

Thanks for playing...

You truly are a moron, please read the following very slowly: I WAS RESPONDING TO POST BY SOMEONE WHO STATED THE BUCS DID NOT BEAT ANYONE WITH A WINNING RECORD.  I was merely pointing out the fact that argument is not valid considering the Giants had only beaten one team with a winning record. Kind of stupid to try to put the Bucs down for not beating winning teams when the Giants have beaten even less winning teams.

The word bimbo may apply to your wife but please do not assume that every woman is one.  I know you feel tough sitting there behind your keyboard spewing sexist comments but you are really just showing how classless you really are!

How dumb are you?! That's exactly the insult you were using for the Giants. And don't give me the crap about the Giants beating less winning teams than Tampa Bay. When we're talking about a difference of one game and two games, the argument is so irrelevant. And the Bucs would have been 4-12 if they played in the NFC East.

The word bimbo may apply to your wife but please do not assume that every woman is one.

By no means am I assuming that. I'm saying that just you are one.

I know you feel tough sitting there behind your keyboard spewing sexist comments but you are really just showing how classless you really are!

Nah, none of the above.

You know nothing about me, so to say I am a Bimbo because I am a woman shows how ignorant you are. Me calling you a moron is different because all of your posts on this board have reflected the FACT that you are a moron.  Not because you are a guy just because you are!  If you are embarrassed because a WOMAN has called you out on your lack of football knowledge and have to resort to calling me a bimbo maybe you should read more and post less until you are ready to have an intelligent conversation!  I know it may be demasculating to have a woman take you to school on sports maybe you should just be quiet now.  I will wait while you look up the word demasculating in the dicitionary!

I said in the other thread, but I'll say it hear, too. Sorry for the bimbo comments. Didn't mean it in a sexist way.

But I haven't been called out on anything. I've brought up many good points that I haven't gotten responses to.

I feel I have responded to all of your VALID points.  How can a team with a -9 turnover ratio feel confident about their chances against a team with a +14 turnover ratio.  How can you feel confident at all with Eli as your quarterback?  You have a good running back, a great defensive line but a bad quarterback that costs the Giants many, many games.  You got three players hurt last week, one of which is your center and the Bucs have been well rested and preparing for the Giants for weeks.  You are playing against the leagues #2 defense.  To say you are not concerned about that makes no sense.  If you think the Giants will win, great more power to you but I can not see a logical reason as to why they would.  The bucs are more consistent, the bucs have a more reliable steady quarterback, the bucs have a decent running game and a great defense.  I am obviously biased towards the Bucs but I really think this week's game favors the Bucs.  Next week, against the Cowboys or Packers is a different story (not to say they are not winnable but I defintely have some concers with these teams).  I am not saying the Giants are bad, I just do not think with Eli as quarterback they match up well against the Bucs.
