Will NJ Tech End the Season Defeated? I think they will win at least one game probably during the brief home stand in early February. Good luck, everyone needs some wins to get the program going.

I don't think there is anyway that NJIT will end the season winless. They have a couple easy independents coming to the Prudential Center. Dan Stonkus and the guys will be pumped.

Last year they finished 5-24 and looked pretty good for a first year D-1 program. This year I was expecting more. NJIT has solid players like Nesho Melisovic, Dan Stonkus, and Courcy Magnus back. At the beginning I thought we would have a ten-win season. I think the coach has to take part of the blame. I agree with the thread creator and think the program needs to get off the ground.

I hope not, but, its kind of crazy that they are in Division 1A to begin with. I still can't figure out how they came to the decision to join 1A from Division 3 anyway???

They are an extremely small school and I think that they probably will end up moving down if that is even possible. They just need to get some recruits from talent rich NYC. If a couple good ones go to NJIT they could make some noise.

I know NJIT fans don't want to think about it, but a winless season would be good for the program. Sure, it is stating out loud that you suck but it would also bring National Attention. That is something you need. Even if it comes in a winless season. Godd luck getting the program off the ground. That is a huge jump you made and I will be looking for you guys to develop.

You couldn't put 20 on anybody. I watched Texas-Pan American play earlier this year, they're not too bad. Their point guard is one of the nation's leaders in assists.
